Default Kubuntu 24.04 problem with suspend

I previously had Kubuntu 22.04 installed on my laptop using the same dock with DisplayLink. I was able to suspend the machine and then wake it back up and everything would work as expected with the displays. I've done a clean install of Kubuntu 24.04, installed DisplayLink, and tried to suspend. Now, when I try to wake the machine back up, the screens do not display anything, including the built-in laptop display.

I see the following error in the system logs right before the system goes into suspend.

(sd-exec-strv)[8312]: /usr/lib/systemd/system-sleep/displaylink.sh failed with exit status 142.

Out of curiosity, I looked at the script and tried running it manually (without suspending the system) and it seems to work with no error. It is able to suspend and resume the DisplayLink displays while not affecting the built-in display on the laptop.

As per the directions here, I've collected the diagnostic info with the 'DLSupportTool.sh' script. I'm not sure if it's okay to post that in the open forum or if I should PM that to someone.
