Displaylink Drivers work in conjunction with the DisplayLink chipsets in the adapters. The no monitor detected typically implies that the adapter being used does not use the Displaylink chipsets. The endorsed products are present here but typically you will see the "DisplayLink" logo on endorsed adapters. It would appear you are potentially using a standard non-DisplayLink USB adapter.

tomminy is correct.

The information in the original post has the key detail:

"Vendor ID: 0x0711 (Magic Control Technology Corp)"

The adapter being used by the original poster is using Magic Control Trigger technology. It is NOT using DisplayLink technology.

Since the product being used is not using DisplayLink technology, DisplayLink will not be able to help.

The original poster states that the device is:

"Physical Device: SIIG USB 2.0 to VGA, v2.0 02-1071B"

Which appears to be this device --> https://www.siig.com/usb-2-0-to-vga-1624.html

As a result, you should contact SIIG for assistance.
