Question Ubuntu 23.10 does not show external display of D6000

Hi everyone, just started using Ubuntu and can't make the OS to show my 2nd external monitor. I'm using one using hdmi directly on my thinkpad, but I can't see the 2nd from the docking station. All other devices connected to the dock are being shown (webcam, keyboard, microphone) but none the monitor.
I already installed the driver from here but can't make it appeared to me.
Any help here?

Here I am facing the same thing, I could see the device on lsub and I can see that the displaylink-installer is installed, but my monitor still is dark, this happened after I removed the ubuntu 22.10 to the new 23.10.

If you find a step by step way to install this, let me know!

Hello,

I also ran into issues with Ubuntu 23.10. It appears that newer kernels like the one used in Ubuntu 23.10 (kernel 6.5.x) are not supported yet by the currently released DisplayLink drivers.

Here's a link with a possible solution, which worked for me:

cheers,
