Laptop: Macbook Pro 2018 13.3" i5 processor
Monitors: Samsung 28" U28E590 I'm able to drive multiple monitors using DisplayPort connections on the plugable USB-C 4K Docking Station. However, compared to direct connections to my Mac with plugable USBC-DisplayPort cables, the screen refresh rate appears quite slow. Measurement tools claim it's a 60hz refresh rate, but I'm confident the visual refresh rate is slower compared to my other setup. The mouse lags more, the windows move more slowly. Are there settings or options I can use to fix? A special driver? Any known limitations? |

I am encountering the same issue. The system indicates that the display is running at 60hz, but moving a window around on the screen appears much more flickery (i.e only 30-40hz) than it does on my other display that is running at 60hz using the native graphics adapter. Is there any way to fix this, or is this just a limitation of DisplayLink?
