Default 2.3 Beta Release now available

Hi All

I'm pleased to announce the first beta of the 2.3 Mac software.

Headline features and fixes in this beta:

This release delivers the following improvements
* 4K resolution support
* DL-5xxx support
* DL-3950 support
* New embedded firmware upgrade mechanism improving first connect user experience. Visible from future releases.
* Support for a single DisplayLink screen on OS X 10.10
- More screens can be connected but with limitations due to OS issues.
* Bug fixes and compatibility improvements for all products

Known issues with the release:
Not all display modes are available for rotated DisplayLink screens.
On MacBooks with Retina display internal screens may get corrupted if screens are in mirroring mode. A workaround is to switch to extend.
Changing the monitor connected to a DL-1x0/DL-1x5 DisplayLink device may require the device to be unplugged and replugged for the new monitor to be correctly recognised.
Two DisplayLink monitors mirroring each other may sometimes cause corruption on main Mac's screen.
Screen corruption while mirroring multiple DisplayLink screens.
Desktop & Screensaver window is sometimes crashing when DisplayLink monitor is set as a primary display.
On some systems, unable to login after restarting while in mirror mode.

Please see this FAQ for limitations when using DisplayLink enabled devices on OSX 10.9 and 10.10

As always, please raise any issues found in this forum.
