DisplayLink Manager App not working on macOS Big Sur 11.2.3
Hello, I have a problem with the DisplayLink Manager App on my MacBook Pro (M1, 2020) running macOS Big Sur 11.2.3. I have installed the latest version of the app (1.3.0) from the DisplayLink website, and I have connected my external monitor (Dell U2414H) via a USB-C to HDMI adapter (Anker PowerExpand+). However, the app does not detect the monitor, and the monitor shows a "No Signal" message. I have tried the following steps, but none of them worked: • Restarting the app and the computer
• Reconnecting the adapter and the monitor • Changing the HDMI cable and the HDMI port on the monitor • Allowing the app to access the Screen Recording permission in System Preferences > Security & Privacy > Privacy • Disabling the SIP (System Integrity Protection) and the AMFI (Apple Mobile File Integrity) on the computer I have also checked the app's log file, and I found some error messages like: [ERROR] Failed to create IOUSBHostDevice for service 0x1000004a5 [ERROR] Failed to find device handle for service 0x1000004a5 [ERROR] Failed to open IOUSBHostInterface for service 0x1000004a7, err = e00002c5 I have attached the full log file and a screenshot of the app's window for your reference. Can you please help me to solve this issue? Thank you. Last edited by NokiaMulse; 01-30-2024 at 02:14 AM. |
