Targus 3.0 dock causes Win7 not to detect add'l monitors
I've spent three days trying to get this to work. My old dock worked fine. I'd unplug my HP6T-1000 Ultrabook, use it to do stuff outside the house. Did this dozens of times. Then last Sunday, I plugged it back into my old Targus dock and suddenly Windows 7 cannot detect my external monitors. They've got power; I've check the video cable connectors between the back of each monitor and the dock. I bought a new dock, thinking maybe the old one had fried its video throughput. I've updated every single dang driver connected with this. STILL can't get Win7 Display controls (Screen resolution) to detect these monitors. What the heck is wrong??

Hi,
Do you have the Targus ACP70 or ACP71 dock? Thanks, James |
