Question Deployment issues with version 8.0 m*

I have some trouble deploying the 8.30 versions. I have 10 notebooks with 7.9 installed, 8 of them failed to upgrade to 8.0. I just uninstalled 7.9 from one of them and redeployed 8.0m2 but I keep getting the following error 1603:

Action start 10:21:42: InstallExecute.
-lot of code-
CustomAction InstallIndirectDisplayDriverPackage returned actual error code 1603 (note this may not be 100% accurate if translation happened inside sandbox)
Action ended 10:21:48: InstallExecute. Return value 3.

I also had this error with version 8.0m1. Deployment is done with PDQ Deploy and the following command line:
msiexec.exe /i "DisplayLink_Win10RS1.msi" ALLUSERS=1 /qn /norestart /log output.log /norestart /passive /quiet

Anythoughts?

Hey Admin,

It looks like you are maybe trying to deploy an RS1 driver on a TH2 system.
Can you please check with version of Windows 10 your target computers are?
Only deploy Win7-Win10TH2 on builds up to 10586 (TH2)
Only deploy Win10RS1 on builds after 10586 (RS1).

Kind regards,
Alban

You are totally right, I overlooked the Win10TH2 part. Thought it was only for Win7. Fixed the deployment to check on the build version and it runs smooth now.

Thnxs
