Default Issue Configuring External Monitors with [Amazon Product] on Mac M1 (macOS Sonoma 14.

Hello everyone,

I'm having trouble setting up my external monitors with my MacBook M1 running macOS Sonoma (version 14.6). I recently purchased this product from Amazon: https://www.amazon.fr/gp/product/B0C...?ie=UTF8&psc=1, but I can only achieve an ABB screen configuration and can't figure out how to activate other modes, such as extended ABC.

My Setup:
MacBook: M1 processor running macOS Sonoma 14.6
Product: https://www.amazon.fr/gp/product/B0C...?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Issue: I can only set the monitors to ABB mode and cannot find a way to enable other configurations like extended ABC mode.
Steps I’ve Tried:
Installed the latest driver/software available from the manufacturer’s website.
Updated macOS to ensure everything is up-to-date.
Checked macOS System Settings > Displays, but no options seem to allow me to change the configuration.
Verified the cables and USB-C/HDMI ports (everything appears to be connected properly).
What I Need:
A solution to enable an extended ABC mode where each screen operates independently.
Confirmation if this product is fully compatible with Mac M1 on Sonoma.
Any tips or advice if someone has faced a similar issue.
Thanks in advance for your help! 🙏

*** Note from Moderator - Please don't post problem reports in the General section of the forum. This post has been moved to the macOS section ***

For your reference, DisplayLink technology is a combination of software and hardware. The product you are using does NOT have DisplayLink hardware inside of it, which means that DisplayLink will not be able to assist you.

The product you are using has a DisplayPort Multi-Stream Transport (DP MST) hub inside of it. Macs do NOT support DP MST hubs, which is why your displays are mirrored.

In order to add more than one external display to your Mac, you will need to use a product based on DisplayLink technology --> https://www.synaptics.com/products/d...ylink-products
