Same issue with Win10 10041 and Displaylink 7.8.61754.0
Same issue with the latest build/driver you posted today. Screen flashes 5-6 times and never turns on. explore.exe eventually crashes.

I've installed the latest Alpha from today and it seems to be working for me.
Make sure you use the DL cleaner when remove the old drivers. |

I first used the DL clean tool and then installed the Alpha 8 driver.
It now works for me Happy easter! |

I had done that yesterday when James first posted the new v8. I'll give it another go, though.
