Default How do I define which chipset my device has?

Hello,

I've purchased a couple USB32HDEH and am fighting to get them running under Debian 9.9 Stretch (20190619).

I understand that there are different drivers for different devices/chipsets (new/old or displayLink and non-displayLink), but I can't seem to find a definitive answer indicating which I have.

USB IDs are: idVendor=0711, idProduct=5601

Any pointers?

Thanks.
andrew

DisplayLink's USB vendor ID is 17e9, so the device you're connecting is not using our technology. Sorry.

Kind regards,
Michal
