5120x1440 Support (Lenovo Hybrid Dock)
Hello,
I am currently trying to use the default resolution of my monitor (5120x1440 on Samsung C49RG94) with the Lenovo Hybrid Dock. But unfortunately only 4k (3840x2160 or 3840x1080) is supported. Is there a way to force 5120x1440? Connected via USB-C on Thinkpad T480. Also checked with HDMI or DP. Is there a solution to this problem? Thanks |

Hello,
For 5120 x 2880 pixels / 60 Hz, with an external display you need to be connected to both DisplayPort connectors with the DisplayPort cables that come with the external display. You can find this information in User Manual for the docking station Page 8: https://download.lenovo.com/consumer...1.0_201802.pdf Best regards, Katarzyna

Hello Katarzyna,
for 5120x2880 yes, but not for 5120x1440. 4K is supported with one cable, so 5120x1440 must also support one cable because the overall resolution is smaller than 4K. Following resolutions are supported when connected via Docking Station: 4K is the maximum, but still wrong. The problem is mentioned via suggestions as well: https://support.displaylink.com/foru...440-resolution Greetings |

Issue has been fixed. I can now use full resolution with just one cable.
