Windows 10 v1607 INF Driver Stage Corporate Install
Does anyone have any clarification on how to appropriately stage the drivers using the INF Corporate install method on Windows 10 v1607 (Anniversary Update)?
Where I'm confused is the Corporate Install guide indicates to use the following: pnputil.exe –i –a DisplayLinkUsb.inf But the 'DisplayLinkUsb.inf' only exists in the "Win7-WinTH2" folder for the extracted "DisplayLink USB Driver Package for Windows Preinstall (.INF) 8.1 M0" package. The "WinRS1" contains three other "INF's" but nothing that matches. If I had to guess I would say "dlidusb.inf" might be the one but really it might be all three that need to have the pnputil ran against it. Any clarification would be great. Thanks C |

Hi
Thanks for raising this. You are correct in your assumption and it should be: pnputil.exe –i –a dlidusb.inf The article has now been updated. Wim |
