Default What is the perfect way to install drivers for Fedora-Linux F25/F26

Dear Sirs,

i am running Fedora-Linux for years and i do not want to change.
What is the best and most efficient way to run a DisplayLink
USB-Adapter using Fedora Linux.

I was trying the official http://www.displaylink.com/downloads/ubuntu
driver with a repackage tool https://github.com/kristvanbesien/displaylink-rpm.git.

The desktop recogized the new display, but the display stays black,
mouse can be seen but no background and the contents of
the window gets lots.

Ah another thing, i am running a plasma desktop.

Any clues ?

Christian
