DisplayLink was working great, for months, then one morning I plugged the USB into my MBP, and nothing happened. Just a black screen.
I updated the driver to the latest 1.8alpha and no change. Detect displays doesn't find it. I suspect it's a change to my system, nothing to do with DisplayLink, but if so, I'm stumped as to what it could be. I'm attaching my log. Any help would be appreciated. |

Just realized I didn't mention that I have tested the monitor and all the connections, so that's not it.

I'm afraid your device is dead. It has PID 0x8060 which means something has gone horribly wrong and the device can't boot properly.
It's a hardware problem I'd bring it up with the manufacturer. Sorry to be bringing bad news... Regards Carlo |

Brandon you would be best off to start a new thread instead of hijacking one where the DL folks likely think things are resolved.. (and also your problem doesn't match the thread title anyway)
