xorg-server 1.20+
When is the displaylink driver going to work with xorg-server 1.20? Until it does, users (at least on Arch) are stuck on 1.19.

Are you having any strange issues with xrog-server >1.20 ? I just updated Arch yesterday and everytime I plug in my USB Dell dock, it kills the session and returns back to the GDM login - where I can enter my password and it will immediately log out

I get very, very tired of my displaylink display breaking every few months. I've about had it. |

Yeah, I've just downgraded all the xorg packages and got a fully working system again. It's not great practice but I've held back the xorg packages in pacman to prevent upgrades

So apparently I need to downgrade to the following:
xorg-server-1.19.6+13+gd0d1a694f-2-x86_64.pkg.tar.xz xf86-video-intel-1:2.99.917+823+gd9bf46e4-1-x86_64.pkg.tar.xz xorg-server-common-1.19.6+13+gd0d1a694f-2-x86_64.pkg.tar.xz xorg-server-xwayland-1.19.6+13+gd0d1a694f-2-x86_64.pkg.tar.xz xf86-video-vesa-2.4.0-1-x86_64.pkg.tar.xz Now to figure out how to use the Arch Linux Archive ( you can tell I'm an Antergos rather than a vanilla Arch user ;-) ) |
