Default Win10 1903 Issue

Hi,
I have been using a Pluggable 4K display port with f.lux for the past couple of months. After the upgrade to win10 1903, f.lux no longer works on the monitors connected to the display port. Only the primary laptop that is connected to the port has f.lux working. I noticed that the newly added window's nightlight feature is having the same behavior (not working on connected monitors except for main). Is there a fix/workaround for this?

I browsed through microsoft's known issues and found this. I'm not sure if it's related to the problem I'm experiencing.

Please advise.
Thanks

Hello Survivor,

F.lux has informed me that more recent version (only through the Windows Insiders programme) are now fixed.

You may try adding the following registry key, in the meantime:

Kind regards,
Alban

Thanks AlbanRampon for your reply. I have tried the registry key fix and it is working...however it requires me to leave the dock off/unplugged until I log in and then turn it back on. From then on f.lux works on the connected montiors.

It is another step I didn't have to do before, plus the desktop gets jumbled since the monitors are not always connected. If there's anything else I could do to remove this extra step please let me know. Thanks

I've found the behaviour of Night Light to be inconsistent under Windows 10 1903 regardless of whether a DisplayLink display is attached. However I can confirm the registry fix did enable gamma adjustment on a secondary display even if it's a bit fiddly to get it working.
