Default Issues on Docks using Displaylink & W10

Dear All,

I work for a large firm with approx 1200 Dell 5490 machines - the rest made up with Toshiba Z30 machines. We use a variety of different docks, Fujitsu, Toshiba and more recently, the Dell Universal Dock with USB-C.

Our current W10 build for DisplayLink is 9.0.1809.0.

We have lots of display type issues whereby (for no reason) the dock that was working previously yesterday will stop working but, if replaced with a different dock will start working. This could be hardware but is yet un-proven.

We also have a whole host of display issues where a single screen will stop working or, a screen has gone "pink" or "green" and needs a Display Port adaptor => VGA adaptor replaced.

We have reported these issues out to Dell but, as yet, have had no assistance in getting this problem fixed, apart from them replacing hardware.

I would just like to know if others have shared this issue and how you possibly resolved these please. For note, we are using USB Docks that connect to dual displays - usually one using VGA and, the other using Display port to VGA / DVI.

Most of these issues seem to be connected with a mismatch of analogue / digital displays.

Any advice welcome please

Thanks
