Not Playing Well With nVidia Control Panel

I am unable to use the nVidia control panel to change various settings such as color brightness, etc.

The control panel sees the monitors and allows me to use the sliders, but the results are simply ignored.

The NVidia settings will only work with the NVidia display card driven display.
