Updated to Mac OS 11.3 and second external monitor no longer works...
Anyone have any idea on how to correct the issue? I updated to MacOS11.3 on my M1 MBP and no no longer can get my second monitor. It appears the Kernal Extension is no longer there. I Tried reinstalling and rebooting, but that didn't work either. Am I just SOL?

I am running into the same issue
I am having the same issue, although I am trying to set up my DisplayLink docking station for the first time today.
I have the following Pluggable docking station: https://www.ebay.com/itm/264830205532 I am using DisplayLink Manager 1.3.0 (Build 56.111) My computer is a 13" Apple M1 Macbook Pro (2020), running on Big Sur 11.3 I have (2) HP VH420a monitors, both utilizing an HDMI connection I have hooked everything up, and my second monitor is not being recognized. Pretty big bummer after dropping $172 on my docking station. Anybody know what I can do to fix this? Last edited by LicensedOrphan; 04-29-2021 at 09:20 PM. |

I use a resolution switcher (RDM - https://github.com/avibrazil/RDM) which gives me a workaround for the missing resolutions (but no HiDPI > 1080). Works fine on a MacBook Air M1 with LG 4k Monitor connected via DisplayLink Dock. |
