Cool HP Port Replicator 3005 - High resolution issue

Hello,

I've been using the HP Port Replicator 3005 for a few months now without any issues. In my initial installation, I was using the PR with 2 external monitors, 1 connected on the HDMI port and the other one using the DisplayPort, both screens using a resolution of 1920x1080.

Since yesterday, I have upgraded my monitor to a brand new 27" monitor.
I'm now using my laptop screen and the 27" monitor connected via DisplayPort but using now a 2560x1440 resolution.

After a variable amount of time, the DisplayLink driver collapses and I have to unplug/replug the USB connection to the HP Port Replicator in order to get back access to my 27" screen.

Any clue on how to solve this?

Thanks

Bob

Hi,

Do you now just have the 27" 2560x1440 monitor connected through your HP 3005pr dock?

When you say the driver collapses can you describe what happens exactly?

Could you attach the output from this tool as soon as the issue occurs again?
