Question Issue/bug when awakening from sleep

When my laptop is awakened from Sleep mode, on some occasions there appears to be a bug due to a compatibility error (software) between the Windows 11 OS (latest version being 22000.1042) and Alogic's docking station (DUPRDX3-WW) which uses DisplayLink (10.3.6400.0).

This was also happened using a loaned HP USB-C G4 Dock using DisplayLink.

For some unknown reason, when the docking station connected to my laptop (ASUS G733CX) has on occasion (sporadically), the applications being used open numerous and continuous instances of their respective help files opened.

The only way to stop this event is to reset the computer which affects productivity and workflow along with the time required for shutdown and restart.

This also results in some unsaved work not being able to be recovered.

This happened prior to the most recent update for the DisplayLink driver (used as my first attempt to resolve the compatibility bug issue).

Has/does anyone else experience this issue and do they know how to stop it from happening?

Hello,

HP USB-C G4 does not use DisplayLink technology unfortunately so it seems to happen with both DisplayLink and non-DisplayLink products. If you were to disconnect external monitors from the docking station (which I know is not ideal setup for now) does the issue still occur? Would you be able to test this?

Thank you,
Kate.
