Default Driver not installing EVDI kernel module version

Hi there, i''ve been trying to solve this issue on a co-worker's laptop (HP 450 G7)

The docking station giving issues is an HP USB-C/A Universal Dock G2

I can confirm the docking works fine, because i had the same issue on my Laptop (another HP 450 G7) but after installing the DisplayLink driver 5.4 it started working.
The Kernel version on my laptop is 5.4.0-71-generic

I'm attaching the log files obtanied after doing this.

The kernel version doesn't seem to be the issue, since other co-workers have the same kernel version and have the same docking station working with no manual installation of DisplayLink driver.

From what i saw in the logs, for some reason the EVID Kernel module is not installing, and we can't figure how to make it install.

Could we get some help please?

Thanks in advance.
