Default Can't get DisplayLink display to extend desktop on Raspberry Pi 3

When connecting DisplayLink display to any Ubuntu computer, I can quite easily extend the desktop to the DisplayLink display using xrandr command.

On Raspberry Pi 3, this does not work. The command xrandr does not even show display.

How can configure the display to work on Raspberry Pi 3 when already having a HDMI display connected? The HDMI display is the main display and desktop should be extended to the DisplayLink display.
