Question DL-6000 series devices on Ubuntu ?

Devices drivers with the dl-6000 series chip can support 4k@60hz in Ubuntu 18.10 or later?
I'm looking for the 60hz support, not 30hz, and I want to be sure before buy a device to achive this using USB-C or USB 3.0 from my laptop.

DL-6950 chipset Linux drivers actually can push 4k@60hz in Ubuntu?
I downloaded and installed last DisplayLink driver for my system without problems just for test " DisplayLink USB Graphics Software for Ubuntu 5.2 08 Jul 2019" and this is the output after run the driver:
Code:
Verifying archive integrity... 100% All good.
Uncompressing DisplayLink Linux Driver 5.2.14 100%
DisplayLink Linux Software 5.2.14 install script called: install
Distribution discovered: Ubuntu 18.10

Adding udev rule for DisplayLink DL-3xxx/4xxx/5xxx/6xxx devices

Please read the FAQ
http://support.displaylink.com/knowledgebase/topics/103927-troubleshooting-ubuntu
Installation complete!
Can I achive 4k@60hz with any DL-6950, like this device for example ?
https://plugable.com/products/usb3-6950-hdmi/

Is this device working with 4k@60hz currently ? in the link above, the page said at compatibility section :
"It is not supported with macOS, Linux/Unix or ARM based Windows operating systems (such as Surface RT). " ( is this information out of date ? )

But as I showed above the output of DisplayLink installation said:
Adding udev rule for DisplayLink DL-3xxx/4xxx/5xxx/6xxx devices

" 6xxx devices" but it is a little confused for me, somebody can sure and recommend a device for 4k@60hz in ubuntu 18.10 over USB-C or USB 3.0 please?

Thanks for advance,

Information of my system
$ lsb_release

$ uname -r
4.18.0-25-generic
