"Fit To TV" won't save

The system works great except that it will not save the configuration for the "Fit To TV" option. I can adjust the red lines where they need to be, save the settings, and it works fine until the computer is restarted. After the reboot, the red lines are back to default and I have to reconfigure them.

The computer is a Dell 3000 running XP Pro with the stock integrated video. The USB HDMI device is made by Diamond and I can't find any kind of model number. The video driver and DisplayLink software are the latest version.
