Ethernet Displaylink appears as unknown device
Hi guys,
I have a "Plugable UD-3000 SuperSpeed USB 3.0 Universal Docking Station" and since upgranding to Windows 8.1 in my Sony Vaio Duo the ethernet displaylink appears as an "Unknown Device", I've already tried to uninstall the displaylink software manually and with the "DisplayLink Install Cleaner" and the problem persists. Yesterday I did another clean install of the 7.5 drivers and no luck. The only thing I haven't tried is a clean install of the OS, because this is not an option for me. Any help would be appreciated because I'm fresh out of ideas. |

Hi,
Please try these steps: Right click on unknown device in device manager Select Driver Select Update Driver Select Browse my computer for driver software Select Browse Enter C:\Program Files\DisplayLink Core Software\ Check Include subfolders Select Next Thanks, James |
