4k scaled to 2k
Hi,
so far i bought around 4 devices, docking stations and hubs in order to fix my problem but as far as i read it seems that it might be tech not possible I have 2x 4k monitors and a M1 Air laptop. I have 1st monitor connected to a hub and i can see all resolutions as HI-RES. 2nd monitor is connected to a display link docking station but unfortunately it gives me only 4K and FullHD in HIRES. The rest of the resolutions are in low res. Is there anyway i can fix this and get display link to show me the 2k in hi-res? |

Some posters in this forum have reported success using the application 'BetterDisplay' (formerly known as BetterDummy) to create a 'dummy' mirror display to work around the issue --> https://github.com/waydabber/BetterDisplay Keep in mind that your results may vary, and that 'BetterDisplay' is a 3rd-party application which is not supported by DisplayLink. |
