Mimo 740 and fps

Hi - I have an ASRock 330 win7 system.

The system is mainly used as a htpc and I use XBMC, MPC-HT. The system handles all types of videos fine, including 1080p on my big screen TV.
But when trying to use my Mimo740 as a second monitor and installing the latest driver 5.2.22663.0 the fps get reduced to unwatchable levels, and watching movies isn't possible any more.

Uninstalling dl-drv (completely) solves the problem.

So, to me, this suggests a performance problem in the driver itself.
(I've seen other people commenting about low fps with displaylink driver)

Is there any information about what can be done about this? Or when there (eventually) will be a driver with better performance?

If it would help the development team I'm willing to test beta drivers.
