Angry AOC DisplayLink monitor is not detected with 10122 Preview

Win 10122
Newest 7.8 B1 DisplayLink driver
AOC E2251fwu
nVidia 352.65 drivers

Symptoms: The e2251fwu shows up in Device Manager under USB Display Adapters treenode, as the last treenode. But the monitor doesn't turn on, and is not detected as a display in WIndows or nVidia's display configurations.

I had a working configuration with A10 DsiplayLink driver, 10074 Windows and nVidia 352.65 drivers. Upgrading to nVidia 352.84 broke the constellation.

Windows was nagging me so much after an unsuccessful 10122 upgrade, that I uninstalled the DisplayLink driver, and the 10122 didn't roll back this time. I installed B1 Displaylink. Right before the reboot I could see that the AOC was powered on, but a forcible reboot was needed. It didn't turn on since then.

I tried to revert back to A10 driver but when I connect the monitor, Microsoft pushes down a newer one I think, which is not exactly the B1 either.

Is there method to provide a detailed log for Displaylink for debug purposes?
At least there's no reboot this time.

In my case the issue was the nvidia driver - the latest (WHQL driver 352.84) prevented my DisplayLink to even show its icon.

Once I rolled it back to 349.90 all was well (except when playing GTA V<g>).

You can use 352.63 and it still works (and you can play GTA V just fine).

Indeed, with 352.84 it does not work yet.

Edit: 352.63 works also on the newest build 10130.

The latest drivers from DisplayLink fixed everything for me (GTAV + WHQL nvidia drivers).

I have noticed that my #1 attached screen goes black for a few seconds more frequently than it used to (4/5 times in one day, compared to once or twice during the week).

Anyhoo I am happy camper again!

Can't speak for ctoth, but the 7.9 Beta 1 driver did not fix the issue for me with the NVidia WHQL driver. My external monitors are still not recognized after plugging in. Only my laptop display shows up in the Screen Resolution app, no sign of the external monitors.

Currently I'm happy: Preview 10130, 7.9 Beta2 DisplayLink driver, 352.84 nVidia drivers and the AOC USB monitor are working together.
