Hello,
Would you please be able to collect the logs when the issue is present, but with everything connected?
You can see in my forum signature how to create the .ZIP file.

What do you mean by reinstall? Do you replug the device? Do you power cycle the device? Do you remove and install 7.9 M7 host software again? Do you just install 7.9 M7 again without having to remove it because it's already removed? Do you unplug power, USB, both, neither...
What do you do at night with the device? What do you do at night with the computer? Unplug power, USB, standby, hibernate...

I am trying to understand what is happening so I can make sense of the log files you send me.

Regards,
Alban
