Default Display Link not recognized in Windows 10

I am using the Dell Monitor Stand with USB dock - MKS14; Manufacturer Part# : 767RR; Dell Part# : 452-BBIR; with a Dell Inspiron 7747

I have tried the update driver via the device manager, installed and uninstalled the latest driver from Display Link (7.9), but it will not recognize the hub nor allow any of the usb to work. I have also tried different usb ports as well as rebooting with out it attached and with.

Problem was sporadic during the technical previews, but on the last version it worked fine, not sure what got broke on the final release, but it is frustrating.

I have run through the support suggestions on the display link site.

I have attached support tool files and screen shot of device manager.

Hi,

The hub is in front of the DisplayLink device in the MKS14 so I would advise contacting Dell for support.

Aside from that please try these steps:
1. Try another USB port on your PC
2. Try a USB 2.0 port on your PC
3. Try connecting through an external mains powered hub

Thanks,
James
