Default Reduced color depth problem

Hello.
I have following problem: the DisplayLink driver on Ubuntu seems to cause color banding resulting in lower perceivable bit depth. I confirmed that my secondary monitor is able to display 32-bit color, since everything looks fine under Windows OS.

Here's sample image on primary monitor:

The banding is visible in every application i run.
My OS: xUbuntu 20.04.3
Video card: Nvidia GTX 1050 Ti , driver is nvidia-driver-470
DisplayLink: official DisplayLink driver for Ubuntu, Release: 5.4.1

Hi! Did you find a solution to this? I'm facing exactly the same problem.
