Default Samsung LD220G on Snow Leopard 64bit

Two questions:

1. Does the Samsung LD220G use DisplayLink driver?

2. If yes, does the current beta 1.5 b5 work on my 64-bit Snow Leopard? I know it says "not compatible" but is my Snow Leopard smart enough to run it in 32-bit mode??

Please help, because I've been without my Samsung LD220G ever since the Snow Leopard came out!

Hello displaylinker,

the driver will no work on 64bit kernel mode, it will run when the kernel itself is running in 32bit mode.
You can install and use it when running in 32bit mode.
About the display itself - I do not know every product that's out there, but if it is using DisplayLink chips (which I presume) it should run just fine.
