Arrow Lack of support for 3840 × 2560

Hi all,

I'm currently facing an issue with DisplayLink and my Huawei MateView 28-inch monitor and would appreciate any help or insights from the community.
https://consumer.huawei.com/en/monitors/mateview/

The monitor's resolution is 3840 × 2560, but I've been unable to use this setting. The only option that works for me is 2160 x 1440. When I try a resolution like 3000 x 2000, I get an unresponsive black screen on my monitor. The only way to resolve this is by disabling DisplayLink, changing the resolution, and then enabling it again.

I've been using DisplayLink for over a year with my WavLink dock station that features a DL-6950 Chipset.

I use it with my MacBook Air M1.

I'm unsure how to enable the native resolution on my screen while using DisplayLink. I've spent a lot of time installing different apps in the past to enable support, but it's been a fruitless journey so far.

Any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you

I doubt that 3840x2560 is currently supported by DisplayLink - this so quite an unusual resolution...

It looks that way. For me, it seemed like the best aspect ratio and a no-brainer resolution, but it seems it's not widely recognized.

I am hoping they will add support, although in over a year that did not happen

Hi, this monitor has a 3:2 aspect ratio, very unusual, most current monitor have a 16:9 aspect ratio. I doubt they would even be able to test this wo that specific monitor.
Good luck
