Default [Solved] Dell 3100 dock w. XPS 13" (9360) does not work w. Ubuntu 16.04.4

Version of Ubuntu: 16.04.4
Kernel: Linux 4.13.0-36-generic
Dock: Dell D3100 (EU)
Laptop: Dell XPS 13" (9360)

Hi,

Recently got a new computer at work, a Dell XPS 13" (9360) and tried to install the DisplayLink software which worked on my earlier computer also running Ubuntu 16.04(.3) which was a Dell XPS 13" (9350).

I've followed this step:
https://support.displaylink.com/know...ent-x-upgrades

and used "Workaround 2" which worked on my old computer but it doesn't work on my new one. Tried identifying the monitors ("Displays" > "Detect Displays") but it does not detect my 2 external monitors which are in sleep.

Turning the dock on/off again, reconnecting the monitor cables to the dock and reconnecting; no avail.

Please see attached logfiles through the error-reporting tool.

Thanks in advance for any help - Karl

Update: Removed uploaded logfiles.
Disabled "Secure Boot" in BIOS, restarted, works.
