How to add resolution for non-EDID display?
Hello!
I have projector NEC NP500WS with 1280x800 native resolution, but I can't set this resolution because they are not present in DisplayLink Manager. I'm look in Knowledgebase and find this article. Ok, may be my projector don't support EDID and don't report native resolution. I try to run dl_nivo utility with next parameters: Code:
dl_nivo.exe video mode 1280 800 32 50 When I'm try to change resolution in registry the DisplayLink Service change resolution back. I also use the DL_support_tool and put gathered information here (I can't attach files on this forum). Maybe you know a trick how I can add 1280x800 to my projector? |

What is the maximum resolution you can set?
Is the projector connected directly to the laptop or via DisplayLink adapter? |

Maximum I can set 1680x1050 in DisplayLink Manager, projector support up to 1600x1200, but native resolution is 1280x800.
Projector connected to desktop PC via DisplayLink adapter with DVI-to-DSUB adapter. When I connect projector directly to second port on videocard (GF8800GT) I can set 1280x800 without problems. Please, help! P.S. Pawel, you are Russian? |
