Default 1440p monitor, I can't seem to select 50Hz resolution

Hi All,
M1 Macbook Air, Wavelink WL-UG39DK1 and ZMUIPNG ZM182001dock.
I have a pair of matching BENQ monitors, capable of 1440P/60Hz.
One monitor via HDMI right on the ZMUIPNG dock works fine (I understand it's not using Displaylink).

USB3 connected from the dock to the Wavelink.

The second monitor via HDMI on the Wavelink with Displaylink (DL Manager 1.2 Build 55.125) works fine at resolutions up to 2048x1152/60 Hz.

I know to click option to select that resolution.

I also know that the chipset can only do 1440p @ 50Hz. That's fine, I just can't select it.
My refresh rate is greyed out. When I pick 1440p, it attempts to do 60Hz (I presume) and then adjusts down to 1080p.

Thx in advance!
