Default Can't get a dual monitor setup with Dell dock station

Hello,
I've been trying to get a simple (not daisychain) dual monitor setup with Dell XPS 13 9343 (2015) and 2 Dell p2314h monitors via a Dell (Displaylink) D3100 dock station.
This dock station has one Displayport out, and 2 HDMI out. I have one monitor connected via the displayport - works out of the box. I connected the other monitor via the HDMI out, using a HDMI-to-Displayport cable.
The HDMI connected monitor simply says it doesn't see any signal from the computer (dockstaion) and remains blank. Likewise, windows (10) tells me it doesn't detect any monitor (apart from the Displayport one).
Graphics drivers (intel HD5500) are updated to latest, as well as the latest DisplayLink drivers. I have no idea how to get this working. I've tried many approaches by now, (including giving up for a while), but I am really eager to get this working. As well, I think there's no option to daisychain these specific monitors.
Has anyone encountered this issue? Can anyone suggest a direction?
Thanks!

P.S - I've attached a report from the windows DisplayLink support tool.

Hi,

Can you try running an HDMI to DVI cable for the second monitor?

Thanks,
James

Hi james,
Thanks for the reply.
I don't have such cable at hand.
The only cable I have is MiniDP to VGA, which I can connect directly from the laptop (not via the dock), to the 2nd monitor, and I get an image on the monitor, but that's not solving the problem - of not managing to get the HDMI to work out of the dock.

Hi,

Understood. I usually use a HDMI-DVI cable as I find HDMI-DP cables to have signal integrity issues.

Thanks,
James

@DeWell Can you download, run and attach the output of the DisplayLink support tool on this system? https://support.displaylink.com/know...to-displaylink
