Unhappy MacBook Pro + HP G4 Dock Issue

Hi,

I am currently using MacBook Pro (13-inch, 2016, Two Thunderbolt 3 ports), and is on macOS Catalina 10.15.7.
I am using HP USB-C G4 Dock to extend my views to two other monitors. Before it was working with my MacBook Air 2017 then changed my laptop to MacBook Pro. When MacBook Pro is plugged-in via USB-C in the dock, it charges which means that it has successful connection, but nothing appears in the monitors, and says “no monitor detected” in the DisplayLink Manager tab.

To date, I have installed the latest DisplayLink Manager, and also its plugins. I attached here also the DisplayLink logs. Lastly, I checked the kernel and it is loaded with "yes".

I hope to hear from you soon about your expert opinion about this issue.

Thank you.

Regards,
DK

Hello,

Thank you for reaching out!

If this is the docking station that you own: https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c05861464 please note that it does not use DisplayLink technology. Looks like it uses Thunderbolt.
Please contact the product manufacturer for further support.

Best regards,
Katarzyna
