Default Displays keep going to sleep with Targus Dock and Macbook Pro

Hello all,

i have a MacBook Pro (13 inch, 2020) running von macOS Catalina 10.15.6 and a Targus USB-C Dockingstation (DOCK190 more information can be found here).

So far, i installed the Display Link Manager 1.1.0 (Build 54.91) and almost everything is working perfect (USB, LAN, charging) there is just that minor error:

If i close the Lid of my Mac (that is the reason i got a docking station in the first place) the Displays are turning off and on. So far so good. My guess is, the Macbook is switching something.
But the problem keeps reporducing. there is no timespan, no timeout, i can't keep them alive by constantly typing or moving the mouse... something is totaly wrong...

any ideas?

If it helps: the Monitors are Lenovo ThinkVision 24 inch both connected via DP.
