Default Surface Pro X - Graphics SQ1 Adreno 685

Hi,

Has anyone successfully installed displaylink on a Surface Pro X?

When trying to install, displaylink fails with the graphics card install and rolls back.

Trying to install for a client who uses Toshiba Dynadocks

Thanks,
Steve.

Hello Steve,
You need to use the INF in the Arm64 folder, not the EXE.
https://www.displaylink.com/downloads/file?id=1475
Alternatively, depending on product you connect, it would get a driver from Windows Update.
Regards,
Alban

You're welcome,

Please do let us know how it works for you/them.
We started distributed the driver when the first Windows 10 on Snapdragon came up.
But, as we've not had much feedback, I haven't prioritised new development for them.
I think the Surface Pro X may change that, hopefully. True all day connected computing is a very attractive proposal!

Kind regards,
Alban

Hello,

@freddyremoteuser downloads for newest drivers are available here: https://www.displaylink.com/downloads/corporate - the one posted by Alban is an older one.
I have send you a separate email with the install instructions.

Cheers,
Katarzyna

Once you have download the package and you extracted it you navigate to ARM64 and select and hold (or right-click) the INF files in this folder. A shortcut menu will appear - then select Install.
