DisplayLink works so well with my M1 MacBook mini + 2 external displays as extended. When I use Apple's sidecar to extend to my iPad Pro also it continues to work perfectly. So a total of 4 screens including the laptop.
BUT if I disconnect the Mac from the dock and reconnect it the 1st external screen is now mirrored to the iPad. So the iPad is no longer an extended screen. Stopping the sidecar share and restarting has no effect. If I stop sidecar + quit DisplayLink and restart + restart the sidecar everything is fine again. So no big deal just wondering if there's an easier solution/improvement coming. I'm using DisplayLink 1.8 and the Mac and iPad are all current. |

FYI This seems to be resolved with DisplayLink v 1.8.1

And then upgrading to Ventura 13.3 yesterday seems to have broken it again 😢
