Surface Pro II - Win8.1 - Microsoft Dock
Greetings,
I am having an issue with the Targus ACP70USZ. My current setup is a Microsoft Surface Pro II with Windows 8.1. All updated drivers. The Surface is docked in a Microsoft Surface Docking Station. When I plug in the Targus dock I get DisplayLink to work showing the desktop on two external monitors, the sound works, and the Gig Network Adapter works. What is not working is the USB hub on the Targus Docking station. I get a series of failed driver install sounds and them a Pop-up saying the USB device was not installed and failed. If I remove the Surface from the Microsoft Dock and plug the Targus dock into the USB port on the Surface everything seems to install and operate correctly. Looks like there is a conflict between the Microsoft Docking USB hub and the USB hub on the Targus Docking Station. Any suggestions?? Thanks.. Thanks DH |

Hi,
Can you try the latest firmware update for the Targus ACP70? http://cdn.targus.com/web/uk/downloa...1_20130508.zip Also please attach the logs from this tool: http://www.displaylink.com/support/ticket.php?id=269 When you reply please select "Manage Attachments" from the "Additional Options" section below. From there select Upload and navigate to the output of the tool. Thanks, James |
