While downgrading to older Intel display drivers does work for me, my system will lockup (still own with high fan speed but screens don't recover on wake). Older drivers just aren't a viable workaround for me.

DisplayLink - please work with Intel urgently on a solution for your customers.

Try booting into safe mode and remove the drivers with DDU (Display Driver Uninstaller). That's the cleanest way to remove these drivers

You may have to uninstall multiple times. I had a lot of issues with a dock reinstall. I thought I had uninstalled all the old drivers, but fragments still remained and it kept reinstalling the bad driver. They provided these instructions https://kb.plugable.com/docking-stat...-driver-update

The two keys are to disconnect your internet connection (wired and airplane mode) and keep doing the uninstall device driver process from the device manager until the driver says "Microsoft Basic Display adapter". then you can reinstall the old drivers.

In my case, I also had to block windows from updating drivers automatically otherwise it kept forcing the same driver. I used group policy to do so on my Pro copy, there's other ways to do it though.

I installed the new version, it seems to fix the problem

Version 27.20.100.9565, A06
- Fixed the issue where the monitor does not display when it is connected to the system through Dell D6000 dock.
- Fixed the issue where the system displays a black screen when you close the lid and restart the system through the external monitor.

Hi - thanks for letting us know. I just downloaded the driver for my XPS from the Dell Homepage and it had the version number Intel-UHD-Graphics-Driver_6YGTD_WIN64_27.20.100.9565_A05 dated May 17th.

Everything is working fine now - problem solved!
