Default Changing Resolution?

Is there a way to change the resolution on the display? I'm getting 1920x1080 resolution but the font is pretty tiny for the display size. I find myself squinting...at least I can zoom in via Chrome, but that's about it...

It looks like I'm not able to get any other resolution except 1920x1080 (even attempted to do the alt\option) to see if any other resolution comes up, but nothing...

I'm able to change the resolution in Windows but not on my Macbook.

OS: Catalina
DisplayLink Manager version: 1.1.0

Hello,

Thank you for contacting us here on the forum.

I assume that you would like to change the resolution of one of your external monitors.

If so, did you try the following?
  1. Navigate to ‘System Preferences… > Displays.’
  2. Open the ‘Optimize for…’ dropdown, and select your external display.
  3. Hold down the ‘Option’ key and give the ‘Scaled’ button a click.
  4. Select a new screen resolution from the list.

Please let me know if you were able to change the resolution of your screen with the above.

If not, please let me know what is the exact model of your device and what do you see while trying to change the resolution.

Thank you for your actions and time.

Kind regards,
Jakub
