DisplayLink 4.2 and Mint 18.3
Hi,
after a fresh installation of Mint 18.3 on an external SSD I installed the displaylink driver 4.2. It does not work with an external screen. There is an erratic behaviour even after creating the two versions of the 20-displaylink.conf file. Attached is the 'displaylink' diagnostic file of my system. Any help would be appreciated. |

But what are the symptoms exactly?
Thanks, Michal |

I have this same issue. The network works, but not my extra screens. They keep on being blank after installation of the driver.
I run linux mint 18.3 with displaylink driver 4.2.29 |
