Default Dual Display Issues since Big Sur

Really getting tired of this software! Anyone know of any plug and play options?! I'm not too tech so I just want something where I can edit my videos using two monitors. Siiiigh, a girl can only wish ...

Anyways, I've downloaded the new DisplayLink Manager 1.1. I'm using a Tobenone Docking station (https://www.amazon.com/Docking-Stati...848954&sr=8-35)

I have allowed screen recording. My MacBook Pro even detects both screens. However the screen on my left just stays asleep. Always. My MacBook is open, and I currently can only use the MacBook and one monitor.

I didn't have this issue with Catalina. I'm tired. Hopefully, I can figure this out soon.

Hi, i have had the same problem as i connected the first time the external monitors.

Check if the 2nd monitor is using the correct input source and try to reconnect it (just plug off the cable). In my case it worked, i hope it will work for you as well, if not already

Hello,

Thank you for reaching out!

If you are having issues such as monitors remaining black - or one monitor of the two connected to the docking station it is best to gather and post logfiles. That provides us with background information that allows us diagnosing the problem. The steps are here:

https://support.displaylink.com/know...to-displaylink

If you are still having issues please gather the logs and post them here or for more speed response from our support team please send them with the problem description or link to your forum post to technical_enquiries@displaylink.com.

Best regards,
Katarzyna

Default same issues

Bought a MacBook Air M1 and I have the Thunderbolt 3 Cable Matters dual Monitor docking station. Works perfectly on my MacBook Pro running version 0.5 of the DisplayLink Manager. Installed the new version of my new laptop... monitors aren't even detected. I allowed screen recording and accessibility settings.

What should I do?

Default M1 Mac mini

after waking up out of sleep the displays (non display link ones) are erratic.
it is not detecting the DL display
if I go to system pref and change the refresh rate on one of the non DL monitors it seems to fix the problem.
I change it from 60 to 50 then back to 60.
then the DL monitor shows up
however they are not in the correct order...

also upon a restart, the DL app is not automatically launched, even though that button is checked.

thank you for your help.
