Default Loose ethernet connection with two display link hubs

We have a Mac Studio with two display link hubs(wavlink, STEPRO) running 5 displays. the problem is that certain internet functions work like updating software but web browsing works intermittently but majority of the time it does not work. I did update to the latest display link but that didn't fix it.

Hello raisin,

Thank you for contacting us.

To better understand your problem, please send us some more information:
1) Which macOS are you using?
2) Could you share more information about models of those docking stations?
3) How is your Ethernet connection provided? What setup do you have?

1. Using Mac OS 15.3.2
2. Wavlink Triple Display Docking Station Model# WL-69PD24 and STEPRO 14 in 1 docking station Quadruple Monitor Model# UCN3525-1
3. At first we just had the one ethernet connection to the Mac Studio and that started dropping out intermittently then tried unplugging both docks and shutting down the display link software and the internet came back on. Then we tried plugging ethernet connections into all docks and computer and that worked for a little bit and now the internet connection is intermittent. The strange thing is that software updates can get through but no web browsing or livestream to our YouTube channel is working. BTW we would cold start each time while testing.

Thanks for your consideration.

Hello raisin,

A driver from Apple is used to handle ethernet, and we have no control over the behavior of the network card.
One thing which we can recommend is to connect the ethernet cable directly to Mac Studio, and in the System Settings - Network please remove the services coming from these docking stations.

So nothing worked until we tried this:

We shut down display link then open all the apps that we need for internet access. Once internet access is working then we start display link and our internet connections remain open. If we have display link start at start up or turn launch it before we launch all the apps that we need internet for our internet does not work.
