Exclamation Flickering monitors

We have 3 laptops and 1 table connected to dual monitors and all 4 of them blink. The laptops are 2 Sony Vaios and 1 HP Probook and the tablet is a surface pro 3. The dual monitor docking stations is a Targus, HP, Kensington, and Stardock.

We've updated all the drivers to the newest version and have the newest version of disaplylink drivers but they still flicker. We've tried unplugging the docking station, running the displaylink cleaner tool, rebooting, reinstalling the docking station numerous times on each but still doesn't help.

We've also tried changing LargeScreenBoostCapable to false and DisableCompatibilityChecks to yes in the registy HKLM\Software\Displaylink\core but that doesn't help either.

We've also tried not installing the DisplayLink Graphics driver as in a previous version having that installed would cause the computer to blue screen due to incompatibility between the native graphics drivers and that. That doesn't help now. Also tried installing version 5.6 but that must still be too new.

We found a site saying the blinking could be caused by a ground loop surge so we put a two prong adapter on the power of the laptop, docking station, and monitors, but still no go.

The laptops are Win 7 pro and the tablet is win 8.1 pro.

Attached is the support tool data and a snapshot showing the computer passed the compatibility check.

hello,

have you tried using powerline communication socket ?
I manage to decrease black screen by using filters coming with powerline communication socket. (i am not sure if it is called like this in english. in french it is called CPL standing for Courant porteur en ligne)

i have just posted about that in this thread:

Default Issue found

Have tried something similar but didn't help. Did finally find a pattern for when the flickering happens. It only happens when someone walks near by or gets a static shock.

Not a software issue at all, these docking stations are very acceptable to electrical surges.
